Paradiso chooses Paylogic as innovative ticketing partner

Paradiso and Paylogic join forces to improve the digital interaction between visitors and the Amsterdam music venue.
Paradiso and Paylogic officially announce their partnership this Tuesday. Since the beginning of April, Paradiso has been selling tickets for a number of programmes via Paylogic. At the end of June, the venue will be selling all tickets and memberships via the Amsterdam ticketing platform. From then, it will be possible to order tickets for Paradiso programmes directly on www.paradiso.nl, without leaving the website. In the coming years, Paylogic and Paradiso will work together on innovative solutions to create the optimal online and offline visitor experience.
Erik Luyten, Head of Ticketing Paradiso: “Thanks to the partnership with Paylogic, our visitors can buy tickets more easily and quickly. We will be working closely with Paylogic to improve the user experience and to be in closer contact with the 650,000 visitors we attract with our programmes each year. We will do this by developing an environment on our website where the ticket sales and the discovering of our extensive programming come together. Paylogic also gives us the tools to further develop the Paradiso membership and, thanks to smart solutions, shorten the waiting time at the door.”
Marijke van den Bosch, CCO Paylogic: “We are convinced that the progressive and distinctive way of thinking at Paradiso is in line with what Paylogic represents. As market leader in the Benelux we are active in the festival industry and other live entertainment markets. Now we are also disrupting the pop venues market with our technology in order to build sustainable relationships between the fans and the organizations. It is an enormous honour to work with such a great pop venue as Paradiso.”
Paradiso opened its doors on the 30th of March 1968. Paradiso organises more than 1,200 programmes each year throughout Amsterdam. In addition to the programming in the former church on the Weteringschans, Paradiso also programmes in Bitterzoet, Paradiso Noord in the Tolhuistuin, de Vondelkerk, Theater De Roode Bioscoop, de Duif, het Zonnehuis and others. For Paradiso, the collaboration with Paylogic means the end of a long and very pleasant collaboration with Ticketmaster.
The technology company Paylogic, originally from Groningen, was founded in 2005 and develops e-commerce solutions for the live entertainment industry. With a broad international customer portfolio, Paylogic facilitates parties such as Tomorrowland, ADE, Studio100, ID&T, RTL Nederland and Agents After All. The platform processes more than 6 million tickets, merchandise, hotel packages and other products on an annual basis, making it the market leader in the event industry in the Benelux.
